Controls Technician -Startup- Powers HVAC- Northwest Arkansas

We are looking for a reliable person to add to our Controls Startup team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Startup and checkout of controls systems based on contract documents.


• Startup and checkout of Variable Frequency Drives.


• As-builts, commissioning and document management.


• Read sequence of operations and startup accordingly.


• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in controls installation preferred.


• Ability to properly build and assign controls points to DDC Controllers is preferred.


• Basic knowledge of building control systems and interfaces.


• Some experience in working with Commissioning Contractors and Construction Contractors is preferred.


• Proficient in operating a computer.


• Willingness to work long or extended hours to complete task.


• Ability to work with others.


• Ability to discuss issues and come up with solutions.


• Ability to prioritize work and organize tasks.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Mature judgment.


• Attention to detail.


• Willingness to learn the Siemens Tools required for the job: Commissioning Tool, ABT Site, LaunchPad, etc.
