Job Title: C-Store District Manager
Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Range: $80,000–$85,000/year

Status: Full-Time | Exempt
Department: Operations

Overview:
Soapy Joe’s is looking for a hands-on, people-focused District Manager to lead our growing network of convenience store operations. In this role, you’ll oversee multiple store locations and ensure performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance are consistently met. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor Store Managers across multiple sites
   
• Ensure stores deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience
   
• Monitor fuel operations, including pricing updates, compliance requirements, and coordination with vendors or internal teams
   
• Manage labor and utility usage within budget targets
   
• Oversee merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and facility upkeep
   
• Conduct regular site visits and monthly inspections
   
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to drive team results
   
• Analyze trends and KPIs to improve store performance
   
• Partner with HR, Marketing, and Operations to improve communication and team engagement
   
• Leverage technology and innovation to streamline processes and reduce manual work
   
• Ensure stores meet safety and environmental standards

Requirements

 Requirements:

• 5+ years of multi-site retail management experience (fuel, food, liquor, or convenience preferred)
   
• Proven leadership and team development experience
   
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
   
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed
   
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile-based business tools
