Key Responsibilities

  • Hold managers accountable for department performance, employee development, and timely completion of priorities.
  • Improve provider schedule utilization, appointment readiness, and patient access.
  • Conduct daily huddles and weekly leadership meetings with clear action items and follow-through.

  • Partner with HR on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee concerns.
  • Monitor operational scorecards and implement corrective plans when results fall below expectations.
  • Manage operational spending within approved budgets and coordinate resource needs with finance.
  • Partner with marketing and front-office leadership to ensure the practice can accommodate new-patient demand.
  • Resolve escalated patient concerns and improve the overall patient experience.
  • Support HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and practice-policy compliance alongside designated clinical and compliance leaders.
  • Model Great Smile Dental’s core values and foster a culture of ownership, professionalism, and accountability.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in a large, multispecialty dental practice or dental group.
  • Demonstrated success improving team performance, scheduling efficiency, and practice operations.
  • Strong understanding of dental workflows, performance metrics, and practice financial reports.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and managing employee performance.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Dental practice software proficiency; CareStack experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent leadership experience considered.

What Success Looks Like

A well-staffed, organized practice with accountable managers, productive schedules, efficient patient flow, consistent processes, and measurable progress toward practice goals.
