Role Overview: 

A Treehouse Cook 1 is a star in the kitchen, bringing advanced culinary skills, strong organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of kitchen operations. In this role, you’ll showcase your expertise on advanced cooking stations like sauté and grill, crafting hot entrées with precision and care. As a key team player, you’ll ensure dishes are executed flawlessly while contributing to the smooth flow of service through effective communication and organization 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Confidently work any kitchen station as needed, showcasing versatility and expertise. 

• Support the development of junior team members by sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration. 

• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. 

• Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to maintain seamless operations. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional kitchen experience, ideally in high-volume or fine dining settings. 

• Proficiency in advanced cooking techniques, with the ability to work independently. 

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic kitchen. 

• Flexibility and composure under pressure in fast-paced service environments. 

• A commitment to teamwork and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. 

• Attention to quality and consistency, with a focus on detail and presentation. 

• Thorough understanding of kitchen weights, measures, and recipe adherence. 

• Ability to follow recipes, plating guides, and inventory instructions with precision. 

• Consistently maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. 

• Ability to follow recipes, plating guides, station inventory guides and other written job-related materials.  

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment. 

• Experience preparing and assisting with the execution of banquet events.
