Our mission at Bay Bluffs-Emmet County Medical Care Facility is to provide exceptional care with compassion and dignity. This is a collaborative effort where the Cook position plays an important role, working both with residents and behind the scenes.As a Cook, you will prepare meals in accordance with current applicable standards and established policies and procedures, ensuring that quality food service is provided at all times. You will also contribute to maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for the residents while prioritizing their comfort.

Bay Bluffs - Emmet County Medical Care Facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care with compassion and dignity. Responsibilities:



  • Prepare delicious and nutritious meals, adhering to high-quality standards

  • Follow designated recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation methods

  • Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are strictly followed

  • Collaborate with the team to plan and organize meal schedules

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain adequate supplies

  • Assist with meal distribution and presentation to ensure an appealing dining experience

Requirements:



  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred

  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques and cooking methods

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
