Job Description - Cook

Missouri Girls Town is looking for a Cook who enjoys cooking and wants their work to matter. In this role, you’ll prepare nutritious meals and help create a welcoming dining environment for youth in our residential program.


If you like running your own kitchen, cooking real meals, and having a steady full-time schedule, this could be a great fit.



What You’ll Do



  • Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks

  • Manage day-to-day kitchen operations

  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and food-safe

  • Help with food deliveries and occasional campus events

  • Maintain simple USDA meal program records



What We’re Looking For



  • Age 21+

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs

  • Valid driver’s license (Class E within 30 days)

  • Food Handler’s Card, CPR, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

  • Dependable, organized, and comfortable working with other staff and working around youth

  • Must pass a background check

  • Full-time hours Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday working 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
