Job Summary:

As a Cook at Denny's, you will be responsible for cooking food to order, preparing ingredients, maintaining proper sanitation, and ensuring the adherence to company food preparation standards. Your primary goal will be to ensure guest satisfaction by presenting food according to Denny's specifications and guest preferences. Denny's will provide a comprehensive training program.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Ensure guest satisfaction by proper plate presentation and cooking to Denny's specifications and guest preference.
• Prepare food to recipe and company standards.
• Adhere to all company standards and policies, including proper food storage, rotation, portioning, temperatures, and reporting to work on time.
• Maintain proper fry line sanitation at all times.
• Complete all stocking, and daily cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to all safety standards and promote Denny's Inc. and Franchise company values.

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive standing during peak hours
• Reaching heights of approximately 5 feet and depths of 2 to 3 feet
• High level of mobility/flexibility on the cook's line
• Bending, reaching, walking
• Carrying trays of food products weighing about 20 pounds
• Meet all regulations pertaining to food handling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and maintain proper hygiene.
• Must complete all training, anti-discrimination & anti-harassment training and embrace our company’s nondiscrimination & anti-harassment policies and values.
