Cook (FT)

Description of the role:

As a Cook at Trotwood Health & Rehab, LLC in Dayton, OH, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents in a healthcare setting. You will work alongside our dietary team to ensure that food is prepared according to dietary guidelines and meets our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking meals according to menu and dietary requirements


• Following food safety standards and guidelines


• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen area


• Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies


• Collaborating with dietary team to meet resident needs

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cook in a healthcare or similar setting


• Knowledge of food safety regulations


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills


• High school diploma or equivalent
