Job Description:

Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Full-Time Cook to join our team at our Assisted Living facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing nutritious and delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines.

- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.

- Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies as needed.

- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a cooking or culinary role, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting.

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A passion for serving the elderly and understanding their dietary needs.

- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.
