Cook / Manager Needed

Cook/ Manager needed for School food service program in the Edison, NJ area. Monday through Friday. Full time position, 7 to 8 hours daily. No weekends or Holidays. Some evening caterings occasionally when needed.

Strong culinary experience required. K - 12 school food service is required. Able to lead culinary operations in kitchen. ServSafe® certification is required.

Qualifications:

• Catering experience is required.


• Proficient in technology, namely Google & Microsoft products, and POS systems.


• Client facing role, comfortable with regular client interactions.


• Able to lift 50 lbs.


• Ordering and inventory experience.


• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.


• Following all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene regulations.


• Enforce use of all safety equipment provide for staff at all times.


• Oversee kitchen area and staff needs etc.
