Moto Deli, a neighborhood favorite in South Leucadia, is looking for a skilled and energetic Cook to join our crew. We are all about elevated, chef-driven sandwiches, fresh salads, and high-quality deli fare. What you'll do:

  Execute the Menu: Prepare and assemble our signature sandwiches, salads, and sides with speed, precision, and a focus on high-quality presentation.

  Prep with Purpose: Assist in the preparation of house-made sauces, pickles, and proteins, ensuring everything meets our rigorous standards for freshness.

  Station Mastery: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout busy lunch and evening shifts.

  Kitchen Synergy: Work seamlessly with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure every order is accurate and out on time.

  Safety First: Consistently follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a pristine kitchen environment.

  Contribute: Offer input on daily specials and help optimize kitchen workflows as we continue to grow.

  
  

What you'll bring:

• 
  

  Experience: Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-casual or full-service environment. Experience with high-volume deli or sandwich prep is a major plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Technical Skill: Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of meat preparation, station organization, and ticket management.

  
  


• 
  

  Pace & Poise: The ability to stay calm and efficient during "the rush" while maintaining a positive attitude.

  Reliability: A strong work ethic and a track record of being a dependable team player.

  
  


• 
  

  Attention to Detail: You care about the "little things"-from the perfect toast on the bread to the exact amount of aioli.

  Certifications: Current Food Handler Certification is required. Recent completion of California Sexual Harassment Training.

  Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
