Looking for a Flexible Cooking Role with No Late Nights?

At CountryHouse Council Bluffs, an Agemark Senior Living community, we’re looking for a dependable Cook who enjoys preparing great food and creating positive dining experiences. This on-call role offers the flexibility to pick up shifts that work with your schedule, with a minimum commitment of just two shifts per month. What You’ll Do

• Prepare Great Meals: Cook fresh, flavorful meals according to menus, recipes, and residents’ dietary needs.


• Create Positive Experiences: Help make mealtime something residents look forward to each day.


• Support Special Events: Assist with meals for celebrations, community events, and special gatherings.


• Keep It Safe & Clean: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety and sanitation standards.


• Work as a Team: Partner with dining team members and other departments to keep meal service running smoothly.

What You’ll Bring

• Cooking Experience: At least one year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience.


• Positive Attitude: A dependable, team-oriented approach and a passion for serving others.


• Strong Communication: Ability to communicate and work well with residents and team members.


• Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.


• Flexibility: Availability to work at least two shifts per month and help with additional shifts as your schedule allows.
