Cookeville Caregiver

Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as caregivers in Cookeville, TN. As a Cookeville Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health and well-being.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with light housekeeping and errands as needed.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to supervisory staff.


• Ensure client safety and adhere to all care policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred but not required.


• Reliable transportation to and from clients' homes in Cookeville, TN.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to pass background checks 


• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor.
