Cooler Equipment Delivery (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)

SUMMARY: Responsible for setup and delivery of vending, fountain equipment for Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Physical agility to move/manipulate vending, premix, post-mix and concession equipment into limited space.
• Basic post-mix and premix equipment repair.
• Safe operation of company vehicles and concession trailers. Must keep vehicles and concession equipment clean.
• Deliver or pickup equipment as needed or assigned by manager.
• Record equipment serial numbers and complete placement records.
• Skill to deliver or install all types of vending or fountain equipment.
• Skill to complete basic repair and setup on coin operated vending equipment.
• Required to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Good verbal and written skills required to communicate effectively/clearly/concisely with Customers and other employees.
• Load equipment delivery trucks for next day delivery.
• Other duties may be assigned or requested.

• Mechanical and diagnostic aptitude necessary to solve basic vendor, post-mix and premix fountain equipment repair needs, aptitude to install both post-mix and premix equipment, with ability to install special event equipment.
• Hand-eye coordination is required to apply a variety of connections, fittings, locks or other items while working in a cramped, kneeling or squatting position.
• Mental ability to read and understand work direction of management and customers. Required to represent Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Company in daily customer contact.
• Must be able to work efficiently without direct supervision.

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to common inquires or complaints from customers or other employees.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format.

Computer Skills: Basic skills necessary to successfully utilize required soft wear applications Ability to learn and adapt to ever-changing environment and aptitude to learn these new skills.

Other Skills and Abilities: Basic Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical aptitude

Other Qualifications: Required to have a valid Driver’s License – Class A, B or E. Required to maintain a good driving record.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Required daily. No overnight travel required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear.

The employee must occasionally lift, push or pull fountain equipment, vending machines and carton coolers weighting up to 200 – 800 pounds using equipment and other manpower for assistance. Must have ability to get into and work in very close/tight areas in performing service calls and installing equipment. Occasionally lift weight from 10 to 80 pounds while twisting at the waist while installing equipment.

Ability to maneuver product dolly loaded with equipment up and down stairs.

Must be able to bend and twist at the waist continuously in maneuvering equipment into varied areas of placement.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to demonstrate visual acuity necessary to perform detailed work with small parts and connectors used in installation of equipment.
