Here, you\u2019ll be supported in progressing \u2013 whatever your ambitions. \n\nCo-op / Internship\n\nTo develop competence in strategic and/or operational work while performing in a professional work situation with emphasis placed upon training and development, and to expand professional preparation experiences far beyond the potential inherent in classroom and laboratory activities. Each internship is unique, based on matching the educational and career objectives of the student to the activities of a particular functional area and its specific needs. The internship will focus on a major project for the entire period. Student Interns are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to Boston Scientific\u0027s goals.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Works on specific functional area objectives or projects that may require research, working in teams, developing presentations, designing strategies, and keeping abreast of current industry events, market trends, or competitors\u2019 products.\n * Conducts her/himself as a regular full-time member of the staff by accepting and adhering to Boston Scientific\u0027s rules and regulations and by engaging in professional and personable conduct at all times with staff and customers. The intern is also obligated to comply with any confidentiality and professional policies established by Boston Scientific.\n * Becomes knowledgeable about her or his own responsibilities and the business and operational issues inherent in them as well as about Boston Scientific\u0027s management and particular issues relevant to the Company.\n * Contributes to the preparation and production of proposals and reports by using word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer programs.\n * Prepares an oral and written evaluation for presentation to Management upon completion of internship.\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n * Current student working towards a bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering highly desirable\n * Third-year students or above with completed technical coursework \n * Must have authorization to work in the United States without restriction\n * Fully Bilingual\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook\n * Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external teams \n * Organized and results-oriented; ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing tasks\n * Ability to communicate with individuals on all levels \n * Ability to work independently to plan, schedule, and execute activities necessary to meet project timelines\n * Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills \n\n\n\nRequisition ID: 628925\n\nMinimum Salary: $21900\n\nMaximum Salary: $30700\n\nThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) \u2013 see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com\u2014will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
