Contingency Of Operations Planning (COOP) Analyst
Clearance: T2 Public Trust / MBI required. US Citizenship required.

The COOP Analyst will support The Office of Security (OSY) for a large Federal agency. The OSY was established to mitigate the risk to personnel, facilities, property, information, and assets through increased initiatives in various security fields via issuance of Department-wide security policies and the application of a multi-disciplined security programs extending from the Headquarters to their operating units. OSY plans and implements these policies through developing procedures and delivering security services for the Office of the Secretary and other nationwide Departmental bureaus.
Although other general and within scope support duties may be assigned, some of the required tasks are as follows:
Review and assess Continuity of Operations Plans and Emergency Plans and procedures.
Develop reports and templates for use by Bureaus for Continuity and Emergency Management reporting.
Work with staff to develop a more comprehensive Continuity and Emergency Management Test Training and Exercise (TT&E) program.
Attend internal Department Continuity and Emergency Management working groups as may be required.
Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Continuity and Emergency Management Programs, make recommendations for improvement, and implement approved initiatives.

Requirements:
4 years of related experience, 1 of which must be in a supervisory role.
Bachelor's Degree in an associated discipline (or equivalent).
Certifications: Professional Continuity Planner (Level I, II or Master)

Work Location: (3 days per week on-site, 2 days WFH)
