Job Summary:
Provide knowledge, guidance and assistance to ensure an effective course scheduling program for the college. Collaborate with all college departments to monitor, facilitate, and develop a districtwide course schedule with attention to state, regional, and programmatic regulatory and governing standards, including but not limited to, laws, regulations, statutes, codes, policies, procedures, rules, and directives. This position will report to the dean of districtwide scheduling.Required Qualifications:

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and one (1) year of experience coordinating course schedules or similar scheduling job duties.
Preferred
One (1) year of college course building experience.
Equivalency Language
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
