MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: One (1) year of professional administrative or coordinator experience.
• Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of best practices in organization, administration, and customer service.
• Knowledge of proper protocol in dealing with confidential information.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Ability to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service and sensitivity to a culturally and ethnically diverse community.
Physical Demands: Work takes place in both an office environment and in on-campus buildings; will require ability to travel throughout campus. There may be occasions when the incumbent will need to work outside their normal work shift to accommodate other shifts that exist in the organization for purposes of meetings, training, etc. Must be able to lift at least 25lbs to support inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in student affairs, higher education, business, or related field.
2+ years of administrative experience in business, general administration, or student affairs (particularly with student organizations and/or administrative processes such as travel, purchasing, inventory, etc.).
