Coordinator of Operations and Player Development Coach & Mentor

Though having a passion for athletic instruction and mentorship are critically important, Coordinators of Operations deal in the day-to-day details of delivering an experience to student-athletes and families that exceeds expectations.  They must learn proficiency in TPH’s operational infrastructure, which includes Hubspot, LeagueApps, RippleWorx (TPH DevX), the TPH Development Library,  Rippling, and more. Often referred to as “the glue,” Coordinators of Operations execute a variety of business, administrative and operational tasks.  Superb organizational skills, the ability to successfully time manage, multi-task and prioritize, and a high comfort with systems, software and technology are requirements for filling roles on the Operations and Programming side within TPH.  The Coordinator of Operations and Player Development Coach & Mentor crosses over and supports the actual athletic training and mentorship of student-athletes, providing a unique, best-of-both worlds perspective, one designed to put them on the path to one day becoming the leader of a TPH division or department.

TPH is looking for a Coordinator of Operations and Player Development Coach & Mentor for its Academy in Huntsville, Alabama.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Past amateur, junior, collegiate and/or professional hockey instructional or coaching experience, i.e. it should be clear on your resume and/or cover letter that you have previously instructed players on the game of hockey
• Eligibility to work in the United States without restriction.

The following qualifications are considered assets when applying for this position:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Goaltending and/or goalie coaching experience strongly preferred
• Past business operations/organizational experience, hockey-related preferred
