Job Description - Coordinator, Production Finance, Series

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

Our members love content. In 2026, Netflix will spend billions of dollars on acquiring and producing content around the world in every window for every taste -- from brand new, never-before-seen Originals to timeless classics that are watched over and over again. To build the best service in the world, we look for the best and brightest to drive our strategic business decisions and goals. Netflix operates a financially complex business and believes that it derives a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach it takes to managing productions and the company.

The Production Finance Coordinator is our most junior show-facing Studio role.  It will be instrumental in supporting the Production Finance team in new and returning show set-up, system credential management, and other show-facing production finance needs.

Responsibilities:

  • General show / Supplier set up.

  • Track and process various invoices and production funding requests.

  • Update Studio Paid Cost trackers.

  • Maintain accountant access across internal and external systems.

  • Maintain production accounting staff information in central database.

  • Coordinate proof of insurance for vendors.

  • Positive pay review for fraud protection.

  • Map custom COA's to Netflix COA (chart of accounts).

  • Track cost report submissions and follow up for overdue reports.

  • Add entries to Anticipated Receipts Tracker as needed.

  • Contribute ideas for developing systems & tools.

  • Schedule internal and external meetings as needed.

  • Update various Production Finance tools.

  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of work experience.

  • Strong interest in building a career in production finance.

  • Experience in a freelance production or production accounting role or in a role with the Production or Production Finance team at a major Studio is preferred but not required.

  • Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and be solutions-oriented.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.

  • A degree from a four-year college is preferred.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of hourly pay; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in hourly pay versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The hourly range for this role is $30.00 - $55.29.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
