Position Overview:
Major entertainment company is releasing content at a pace and scale unlike any studio or broadcast channel in history: All around the world, at the same time, all episodes at once, for over 250 million members. With so many different titles to choose, across such a range of tastes and cultural standards, our members need the information and context to be able to tell at glance that what they're watching is appropriate for their household.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate coordinator to support the Policy division of our Ratings team, based in Los Angeles, California. The Ratings Team is a center-of-excellence for maturity ratings, working closely with Content, Public Policy, Communications, & Product groups at the company to connect our stories with millions of people worldwide.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the documents, systems, and tools used by Ratings Policy to track ratings information and other relevant content. You will collaborate with partners including Content Analysis, Marketing, and Operations to ensure that information needed by the Ratings Policy team to review titles is accurate and provided in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to the team's processes and practices, including identifying ways to coordinate workflow logistics and help solve roadblocks, if needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage the various trackers and tools used by the Ratings Policy Team.
  • Communicate with cross-functional partners to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of ratings information provided to Ratings Policy Strategists.
  • Liaise between multiple function areas, conveying expectations around timelines, quality of work product, and efficiencies.
  • Analyze, identify, and strategize how to improve existing workflows.
  • Support title ratings research as needed.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in relevant fields, such as Project Management, Content Strategy, Policy/Legal Operations.
  • Experience working at a technology, entertainment company or creative agency.
  • Experience working with databases, information management systems, keywords/metadata, and/or rule-based categorization models.
  • Consistent record of developing and implementing processes and solutions for a high volume of content at a global scale.
  • Highly organized, able to effectively prioritize and respond accordingly to the shifting needs of the team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and team player, especially when faced with changing responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with several partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
