Job Description - Coordinator-Professional (E/S) - ES
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Act as liaison and primary point of contact with client to plan and implement all aspects of event through conclusion.
+ Ascertain clients requirements for set-up, security, ticketing, etc.
+ Communicate event requirements to appropriate departments.
+ Coordinate procurement of proper insurance coverage for events.
+ Oversee operations, maintenance, contractors, etc. to assure event requirements are addressed and met.
+ Prepare cost estimates and monitor final billings.
+ Provide client with updates and changes in cost estimates.
+ Initiate required paperwork.
+ Provide guidance and supervision to service staff during events.
+ Act as point person for outside promoters.
+ Manage Guest Services, Maintenance, and Security employees during events.
+ Other duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor degree or a combination of training and 2-3 years of related experience.
+ Good communication and organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Accuracy in performing assigned duties is essential.
+ Proficiency with Word and Excel; AutoCAD a plus.
+ Working irregular hours (including nights, weekends and holidays) is required as dictated by event schedule.
