Copier Field Technician

Position

We are looking for a Copier Field Technician to join our service team in Reno, NV.

Essential Job Duties

• Routinely demonstrate and foster a helpful and positive work culture

• Encourage and build positive relationships while communicating effectively with co-workers, customers, and vendors

• Always conduct oneself in accordance with the company's Code of Conduct

• Meet or exceed team productivity goals on key performance measurements

• Meet or exceed inventory integrity goals, including line-item accuracy and dollar value variance

• Meet or exceed financial targets, including parts cost per call

• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on all products

• Make recommendations for service training needs

• Assist the Sales department with product demonstrations as requested

• Perform service calls on machines appearing on Excessive Activity and 3 and 30 reports

• Collaborate with other technicians on service calls as needed

• Service machines for assigned account base, including major and escalated accounts

Qualifications

• Experience and/or certification with at least one of the following product lines is required: Canon, HP, Lexmark (training on other brands will be provided as needed)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong customer service focus

• Strong relationship management skills with customers, vendors, and internal teams

• Exceptional mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills with digital office equipment

• Effective organizational skills and sound judgment in managing priorities

• Demonstrated initiative with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Strong ethics and ability to collaborate effectively within a team

• Strong computer literacy; Fiery/controller experience is a plus

• Self-starter with flexibility to work additional hours as needed during peak periods
