DEX Imaging is looking for a skilled and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to join our team in Brunswick, Georgia. Our technicians are the backbone of our service organization. In this role, you will work directly with local businesses to diagnose, repair, and maintain copier and printer equipment, ensuring their office technology runs smoothly and efficiently.
This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving mechanical problems, and building strong relationships with customers.
What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Technician with DEX Imaging, you will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the Brunswick area by providing expert service and maintenance on office imaging equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to service calls and dispatches to troubleshoot and repair copier and printer equipment
- Performing diagnostics, preventative maintenance, installations, and equipment repairs
- Identifying mechanical or technical issues and determining the most effective solutions
- Completing detailed service reports and technician documentation in a timely manner
- Communicating with customers about equipment issues, repairs, and recommended maintenance
- Managing your service calls efficiently and aligning your work with the daily service schedule
- Maintaining company tools, inventory, and service vehicle in proper working condition
- Following all DEX Imaging service procedures and safety protocols
- Collaborating with the service team and sharing technical insights when needed
- Continuing to build product knowledge through manufacturer training and on-the-job learning
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a reliable and technically capable service technician who has experience working with copiers and printers in a corporate or office environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience servicing copiers, printers, or multifunction devices
- The ability to diagnose equipment issues from both system diagnostics and customer descriptions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work independently in the field
- Strong attention to detail when completing service documentation
- A dependable and professional approach when supporting customers
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6 months to 1+ year of experience working with copier, printer, or office equipment service
- Experience working with imaging equipment in a corporate or business environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer locations
Work Environment
- Field-based service role supporting customers in the Brunswick, GA area
- Regular business hours with occasional additional hours when required
- Up to 20% travel as needed in the market
- Company vehicle and tools provided
