Head Teller | Cedar Park Branch| Location:  511 N. Bell Blvd, Cedar Park 78613  | Position Type: Full-time 

Schedule: Must be available to work during all operating hours | Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30+PM and alternating Saturdays from 8:45 AM to 12:00+PM

Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is seeking a Head Teller to oversee daily teller operations and provide frontline support at our Cedar Park Branch. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys coaching others, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions, and creating a welcoming environment for members and team members alike.


Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coach a high-performing teller team
  • Deliver exceptional service to members—at the lobby, drive-thru, or by phone
  • Oversee daily branch functions including opening/closing, balancing drawers, and enforcing security procedures
  • Assist members with transactions, account openings/closures, CDs, IRAs, HSAs, and basic lending needs
  • Resolve issues with professionalism and a focus on solutions
  • Promote Austin Telco products and services that support members’ financial well-being
  • Work closely with branch leadership to create a cohesive, values-driven workplace

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience in a financial institution, preferably in a teller or supervisory role
  • Strong communication skills and a member-first mindset
  • Detail orientation with the ability to balance cash and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence in handling confidential material and navigating internal systems (training provided)
  • A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a mission-centered team
