Description

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Memphis is currently hiring for Rental Agents in the Metro Memphis area. Agents will assist in the completion of customer transactions while providing superior customer service.

• Operate the computer counter agent control system: open and close rental contracts accurately, contract modification, print and update manifest etc.
• Address customer inquiries, such as: explanation of charges, vehicle damages, directions, etc.
• Promote and sell coverage and upgrades (additional insurance, GPS, rental car upgrades, etc.)
• Perform office duties, such as: answering phones, photocopying, and maintaining a clean and professional work space
• Support a team environment by assisting other agents and/or other areas when needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Professional communication skills and resolution experience
• Proficient in general office equipment (fax machines, calculators, photo copiers, etc.)
• Prior retail and sales experience highly preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
