Job Description - Copywriter

At Zaha Hadid Architects, we are seeking a Copywriter to join our London team on a permanent contract. In this role, you will be responsible for creating texts for ZHA’s publications, press case studies, acquisition submissions, exhibitions, and booklets. You will collaborate closely with project teams and conduct interviews with directors and team leads.

Create texts for ZHA’s publications
Create project case studies for press
Write and edit text for acquisition submissions (bids, capability statements, and marketing brochures)
Create texts for exhibitions & booklets
Skilled in research
Build relationships with project teams and conduct interviews with directors and team leads for required texts
Responsible for keeping an organised record of drafts and final versions of copy by project and team
Edit text for catalogues and publications
Review and edit existing key texts to keep them up to date
Work with project teams and communications teams to ensure a consistent tone of voice in written marketing collateral

Ability to multitask, prioritise and efficiently manage multiple deadlines
Experience working in a similar role, particularly in journalism/press, publishing, or related industries
Strong interviewing skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to adapt tone of voice and writing for different platforms and audiences
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of architecture industry
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely – to take many different types of information about a project and distil the information into a written summary that reflects the voice of the firm/brand
Strong command of English for use in professional settings
Excellent team player with ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues at all levels within the company
Strong IT skills, proficiency in the MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
