Core Drill Operator

We are looking for a Core Drill Operator in Hartford CT who will be responsible for operating core drilling equipment to cut precise openings in concrete, asphalt, masonry, or other materials. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Pay is $20-28 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain core drilling equipment and tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Drill holes of various sizes and depths in concrete, asphalt, or masonry surfaces.
• Ensure accurate placement, alignment, and depth of core cuts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all company and OSHA safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors, contractors, and team members to coordinate work.
• Complete daily logs, time sheets, and equipment reports as required.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with core drilling or concrete cutting preferred (training may be provided).
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather and site conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor and indoor construction sites.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
