About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Core Java Developer to join the Equities – Prime Services Technology Team in New York. This role focuses on building a brand-new Arranged Financing platform for the Securities Finance division. You will also support ongoing enhancements to the current Securities Finance platform.

This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week onsite in NYC.

Key Responsibilities:

  Design, develop, and support new Securities Finance systems

  Enhance and maintain existing financial technology platforms

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with internal technology teams and business stakeholders

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure quality, scalability, and performance of solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in 3 technical interview rounds (2 virtual + 1 in-person)

  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 
  

  Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Core Java and Spring framework

  
  


• 
  

  Strong experience with distributed systems and enterprise-level applications

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced proficiency in SQL/MySQL

  
  


• 
  

  Exposure to Redis, Kafka, and Snowflake is a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, CI/CD, DevOps, and GitHub Copilot

  
  


• 
  

  AWS experience is highly desired

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of Securities Finance or Prime Brokerage domains preferred
