Core Network Management Deputy Director

• Define and execute the long-term Core Network, Data Center and Network Management Center  strategy, architecture roadmap, and evolution plan to ensure scalability, resilience, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business growth objectives.

• Lead end-to-end planning, capacity management, implementation, operations, and lifecycle management of Core Network platforms, ensuring optimal performance, zero congestion, and continuous adoption of emerging technologies and features.

• Drive governance and oversight of all Network, IT, BSS, and infrastructure projects through standardized project management methodologies, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timeline, quality, and compliance requirements.

• Establish and maintain a future-ready Data Center strategy covering infrastructure capacity, power, cooling, security, availability, disaster recovery, sustainability, and cost optimization to support evolving business demands.

• Oversee Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Management Center (NMC) that includes Network, IT/BSS, Digital, incident management, problem management, and change management functions to ensure rapid fault detection, efficient resolution, and service continuity across all technology domains.

• Collaborate closely with business, regulatory, vendor, and technology stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives, compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment of technology investments with business priorities.

• Champion automation, digitalization, process optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives that improve service reliability, reduce operational costs, and enhance organizational agility.

• Provide strategic leadership in vendor governance, technology partnerships, contract management, and technology investment decisions to maximize business value and ensure sustainable technology evolution.

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology organization by fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous learning, collaboration, and leadership development while strengthening succession pipelines for critical roles.

Academic Qualification

• B.Sc./M.Sc. Engineering in EEE/CSE.

• MBA/EMBA is highly recommended.

Job Experience Required

• Minimum 15 to 18 years of relevant experience in Core Network, project management, Data Centre & Network Management Center  in telecom sector with at least 8-10 years experience in mid management role.

• Professional certificates on leadership skill  and Project Management are highly preferred . Other professional certificates will be treated as plus.

Required Capabilities

• Advanced knowledge of 4G, 3G & 2G, Core Network, RAN, Access, IT, IN, BSS, VAS , Site Infrastructure, O&M, service assurance, Performance & Quality, Information & Security governance, Data Centre, Service Operation Centre and  Network Management Center with a solid expertise on Core Network 

• Advanced knowledge on Technical budgeting, actualization and alignment

• People management and training capability 

• Excellent organizational, management and inter-personal skills, and well experienced in working with different type of projects and Hands-on experience on stakeholders management (internal & external)

• Dynamic communication skill, well presentation skills and excellent report writing skills

• Advance Knowledge on Program office and portfolio management

• Solid knowledge on Data Center

• Solid knowledge on Network Management Center 

• Keen Knowledge on CI (Continuous Improvement) methodology and applications

• Moderate level+ knowledge on AI/Digital and application of AI/Digital/Automation in terms of network excellence, process improvement and customer-centric use cases
