Summary
Allegiant Corporate Trainers ensure our teams are confident, compliant, and prepared to deliver safe and efficient operations. Trainers serve as trusted subject-matter experts across passenger services, baggage handling, aircraft handling, and cleaning. This role focuses on operational excellence through training delivery, compliance oversight, and the development of Master Trainers and Local Trainers.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED (college coursework/degree preferred).
Minimum 1 year of experience in aviation or corporate training.
Authorized to work in the U.S. under the Immigration Act of 1986.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Station-specific certification (must be obtained).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication skills, with confidence leading group sessions.
Analytical thinker who can use data to guide training improvements.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel up to 50–75% of the time, sometimes on short notice.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Requirements
Prior airline training experience.
Pursuing or holding an undergraduate degree.
Job Duties
Deliver training sessions and ensure alignment with Allegiant standards.
Assess and certify Ground Security Coordinators in line with TSA regulations.
Monitor compliance across stations and implement corrective strategies when needed.
Review vendor training programs and approve as appropriate.
Create and present training differences packages to close knowledge gaps.
Analyze safety data, performance metrics, and compliance reports to recommend improvements.
Oversee certification and recertification of Master Trainers and Local Trainers.
Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance training content.
Partner with station management, safety, and training teams to strengthen execution.
Travel to stations to conduct assessments, interventions, and compliance reviews.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Lift/carry up to 100 lbs. and push/pull up to 300 lbs.
Work in airport environments with exposure to noise, weather, confined spaces, and heights.
Ability to stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, and operate ground service equipment.
Must be able to wear personal protective gear as required.
Regular attendance required; must be able to work various shifts in a 24-hour environment.
