Position:

As a dynamic and steadily growing company, OGS Industries is seeking a seasoned Controller to help guide our financial strategy and support our expanding operations. This role presents a unique opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to step into a leadership position where they can make an immediate and lasting impact. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and strategic insight to manage day-to-day accounting, streamline financial processes, and support informed decision-making as we scale. Primary Job Duties

• Act as a key financial advisor to the CEO and executive team.


• Be an integral part of the acquisitions team as we seek to acquire 1-2 businesses in 2025


• Supervise two individuals within the accounting department (AP, AR, GL, payroll, etc.)


• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, working with CPA firm as needed


• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or other applicable standards


• Maintain metrics across the company and its departments for reporting purposes to the Executive team, Ownership, and Advisory Board


• Develop company-wide financial statements, budgets, and support leadership in evaluating projects requiring capital investment


• Review and report on operational profitability of parts, divisions, customers, workcenters, etc.


• May eventually grow into a CFO-level role as the company scales

Experience

• +10 years working in a private company in accounting


• Advanced/Expert Excel user


• Capable of learning and championing accounting software


• Managing/Analyzing large amounts of data


• Learning the necessary functions of our ERP system, GlobalShop
