At Woodie’s Auto Service, we’re seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our accounting and finance operations across all locations. This is a key leadership role for a strategic, hands-on professional who thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Your Role as Corporate Controller

As our Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for the financial health of the company. You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide financial insights to support decision-making and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the accounting team and systems

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow

Oversee internal controls, audits, and compliance

Oversee Payroll Preparation and Payments

Partner with leadership on strategic planning and financial performance

Work with external CPAs, tax advisors, and financial institutions

Continuously improve financial processes and reporting capabilities

What We’re Looking For

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
✔ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
✔ Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
✔ Experience in a multi-location or retail environment (preferred)
✔ Proficiency in quickbooks and Excel
✔ Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
