Title - Corporate Controller

This role reports to the CFO and supervises the Staff Accountant. Must have Controller-level experience with a solid accounting foundation. Familiarity with inventory to reconcile accounts. Must be a CPA and have a degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounting: billing, financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition (ASC606), and various special analyses.
• This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Monitor and review financial transactions and activities to ensure compliance with GAAP and established policies and procedures. Also, compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements at the local, state, and federal levels. This includes finances, tax filings, and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiencies
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Assist in the processing and oversight of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Perform Bank and General Ledger account reconciliations
• Responsible for payroll with oversight from human resources
• Assist in the reporting of financial results and variances

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• Active CPA license required
• ASC606 (Required)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
• Strong GAAP accounting knowledge and best practices
• 5 years minimum experience managing an accounting team
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Knowledge of full accounting cycle
