Vision IT seeks an Early Careerist or Newly Graduating Business Practitioner to offer a paid exploratory view into Corporate and Back Office Operations focusing on Technology Talent Acquisition, Sales, and General Business Acumen.


JOB SUMMARY

This on-site role is pivotal to our strategy for cultivating and evolving our early careerists, ensuring they develop a holistic view of Vision IT's planning and growth in the marketplace. This opportunity will aid in developing and sourcing client relationships in the technology services domain, including Cybersecurity, Network Support & Engineering, IT Systems/Technical Support, Program Management and Analysis, and IT Project Consultancy.

This role focuses on developing foundational critical business skills for furthering customer opportunities, client interactions to clarify the Vision IT value proposition, and understanding our client and partner needs and timelines.

  • Technology Talent Acquisition -Technology Talent Acquisition is essential for Vision IT to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry. Learn and materially contribute to its enablement in the organization, delivering quality human capital and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
  • Sales - Learn how sales are fundamental to Vision IT's success and sustainability. Learn to drive revenue generation, facilitate market expansion, foster customer relationships, enhance brand reputation, and enable Vision IT to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • General Business Acumen - Understand and leverage business acumen to navigate the complexities and contribute effectively to Vision IT's organizational success.

SUMMARY of ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technology Talent Acquisition
    • Relationship Development - Proactively provide accurate and timely communications with hiring managers and candidates throughout the process, ensuring top-notch candidate experience. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external recruiting partners. Operate with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively and efficiently. Drive process improvement, strategy, and development across our business. Foster a collaborative team environment and a robust service-oriented culture.
    • Sourcing & Recruiting - Perform full lifecycle recruiting of cleared and uncleared talent. Develop and execute proactive and creative sourcing strategies. Work closely with Hiring Managers to understand specific needs and requirements.
    • Candidate Screening and Tracking - Coordinate and conduct phone screens with candidates to ensure their eligibility and suitability. Maintain accurate records and notes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for candidates and requisitions.
  • Sales
    • Revenue Generation: Materially contribute to revenue generation for Vision IT.
    • Market Expansion: Through effective sales strategies, penetrate new geographic regions, target new customer segments, and enter untapped industries.
    • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Identify leads, nurture relationships, and address customer needs to facilitate the acquisition of new clients.
    • Brand Visibility and Reputation: Execute effective sales and marketing strategies and differentiate Vision IT from its competitors.
  • General Business Acumen
    • Understanding the Market: Grasp market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
    • Alignment with Organizational Goals: Align personal/professional efforts with Vision IT's goals and objectives. Know how the work contributes to Vision IT's success and prioritize responsibilities accordingly.
    • Effective Communication: Communicate more effectively with all stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration and foster teamwork, ensuring everyone is working towards common goals.
    • Financial Management: Understand and leverage basic financial principles such as budgeting, cost management, and profitability for project planning, resource allocation, and decision-making.
    • Risk Management: Effectively assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and make informed decisions to minimize potential negative impacts on the business.
    • Strategic Thinking: Think strategically about Vision IT's long-term goals and direction. Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and contribute valuable insights to strategic planning processes.
    • Adaptability and Innovation: Offer adaptability and innovation to the Team. Understand the need for continuous improvement, embrace change, and proactively seek innovative solutions to meet evolving customer demands.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum two plus years of Business (HR, Accounting/Finance, Business Development) or Technical (IT Service Delivery, Technical Customer Service, Account Management) experience
  • Business or technical education and internships may serve as the minimum experience, e.g., a college degree or trade school diploma.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of business, technical, program administration or related experience. (Experience can be satisfied by full-time or prorated part-time equivalent). Related graduate-level education may be substituted for experience on a year-per-year basis.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in business, Technology, Human Resources, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
