What are they looking for?
They are seeking an accomplished Corporate M&A Partner to join their esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in handling legal matters related to Litigation, which can encompass a wide range of responsibilities and tasks.
Responsibilities
Contributing to the firm's business development efforts by participating in client pitches, writing thought leadership articles, speaking at industry events, and expanding the firm's network of potential clients and referral sources.
Leading a team of lawyers and legal professionals involved in M&A transactions. Providing guidance, mentoring, and training to junior attorneys while ensuring efficient project management and adherence to timelines.
Identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks associated with M&A transactions. This includes assessing liabilities, warranties, indemnities, and potential litigation exposure.
Collaborating with clients and other advisors to develop post-merger integration plans.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction
5-8 Years of experience experience in M&A
Proven track record of handling complex environmental cases from inception through resolution.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a keen understanding of market trends and industry dynamics
