The Role: Mid-Level M&A Corporate Associate

In this role, you'll:

Key Skills

We're looking for candidates with expertise in:

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with M&A deal structures, corporate transaction documentation, and related legal research tools.
• Analytical Abilities: Proven experience in interpreting corporate, securities, and transactional data to inform decision-making.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead deal teams, manage multiple M&A projects, and drive results under tight timelines.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and counterparties.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: A proven track record in M&A at a leading corporate firm, with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Expertise in handling complex M&A transactions, strategic acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.
• Education: A J.D. degree from an accredited law school with superior academic credentials.
• Mindset: A collaborative, forward-thinking approach to solving challenges.
• Bar Admission: Must be an active Bar member in the state of the office location (Bay Area, Seattle, Santa Monica, or New York) or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam.
