We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to get things done accurately and on time. If you have at least 2 years of experience managing full-cycle payroll and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to tackle challenges head-on, we’d love to hear from you! 

Pay Range: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

· Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, benefits, and deductions.

· Monitor and process time records from the timekeeping.

· Work with agencies for Garnishment and child support orders and Payments

· Handle payroll-related tax issues, meeting deadlines and compliance requirements.

· Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries professionally.

· Resolve employee payroll questions and discrepancies professionally and efficiently.

· Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

· Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary updates to maintain compliance.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS 

· Must have 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where adaptability is key.

· Basic understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and reporting standards.

· Mastery of detail, you never let an error slip past you.

· Familiarity with payroll systems like Paylocity (or ADP Workforce Now) and a solid grasp of basic Excel functions.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address issues confidently and proactively.

· Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in tight-deadline situations.

BONUS POINTS:

· Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus but not required.

· Hands-on experience with multi-state payroll processing is required.

· A knack for navigating complex systems and finding efficiencies is required.
