POSITION SUMMARY
We operate in a fast-paced and demanding corporate environment where we provide professional 5-star customer service across several program divisions. This role will support and welcome all employees during new hire and continuous development training sessions.

You will be the first point of contact to welcome and greet employees during their training sessions. You will assist with a variety of administrative activities and tasks including greeting and checking in learners, distributing swag, assisting with supply setup, and providing guidance and directions as needed. You will be an on-site contact for catering, room setup, and AV Issues and perform light troubleshooting as needed. You are a solution provider and seek to provide a memorable customer centric experience through each interaction; you will set the tone for their learning experience and get these employees excited for their future.

An individual who will be successful in this role has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously, and the ability to operate successfully with generalized direction and guidelines for specific processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Be attentive and provide exceptional, professional customer service to employees.
  • Welcome and provide guidance through the check in process to our employees on their first day. 
  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for assigned projects and successful task completion, with an ability to work independently and out of line of sight from other team members for all or part of shift.
  • Assist with new tasks, processes, or projects as needed to support evolving team requirements, other divisions, and asks from partners. It Does not change adversely and demonstrates adaptability as business needs develop and shift.
  • Act as the point of reference for our employees who need assistance or information.
  • Able to think fast, find answers, and respond quickly to our employee issues, all with a polite, empathic, and professional voice and manner.
  • Hand out swag, badges, computers, and any other additional items during orientation.
  • Provide guidance and solutions to our employees that may come up during the onboarding.

  • Responsible for building knowledge and providing information regarding the campus and the surrounding area.
  • Hours will have varied start and end times due to move and scheduling needs. Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends.


Education 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate preferred.


Required Experience:  

  • Minimum 1-year customer service, event staffing, or administrative support experience.
  • Demonstrable Skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; polite and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Experience using MS Office suite of products preferred.
  • Demonstrate customer-focused attitude, providing positive customer service, both in person and virtually.
  • Positive, upbeat attitude and able to get along with everyone.
