What you will do:

Perform full-cycle recruiting to support staffing at all levels of Silgan's operations, from entry-level roles to technical, skilled trades, and professional.

Identify, engage, attract, and hire talent from various institutions like high schools, technical colleges, universities, military installations, and local communities.

Accountable for sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, pre-employment screenings, and extending and negotiating offers.

Recruit quality active and passive candidates using job boards, sourcing tools, social media, and networking relationships.

Use sourcing techniques to find, engage, and activate diverse, passive candidates to build robust candidate pipelines.

Travel up to 20% of the year to attend hiring events at high schools, community events, colleges and universities, military bases, and facilities.

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field.

SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

2 + years of experience with sourcing to build robust and diverse talent pipelines.

Possess current knowledge of relevant employment laws and practices, especially recruitment and hiring regulations.

Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) like Workday, iCIMS, Zoho, Bullhorn, etc.

Experience using AI to streamline work, preferred.

Campus and military recruiting experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.

Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office.

Ability to travel up to 20% to represent Silgan at high schools, community events, colleges and universities, military bases, and facilities.
