Brief Description

ABOUT THE JOB

As a member of our Jail Medical Team you will be working to provide medical care within Polk County Jail. Typical duties include health education, performing physical exam, basic wound care, medication administration, maintaining inmate medical records and collaborating with jail and other health partner staff as needed. WORK SCHEDULE
Sunday through Wednesday from 1830-0500 (6:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICAITONS
Current Oregon EMT license. Two year's experience as an EMT preferred. Emergency room or past correctional experience is desirable.; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a license to practice as an EMT in the State of Oregon at the time of appointment. Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license and automobile insurance, and have access to and use of a personal automobile as a condition of employment. Current CPR required.
