Cosmetologist

**Job Summary:** 
We are seeking a skilled and creative Cosmetologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the beauty industry and possess expertise in various salon services.

 **Responsibilities:** 
- Provide hair care services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatment
- Perform nail care services such as manicures and pedicures 
- Offer makeup applications for special events or everyday looks 
- Educate clients on proper hair, skin, and nail care techniques
 - Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client records
 - Demonstrate proficiency in retail sales by recommending and selling beauty products
 - Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment following industry standards 
- Stay updated on beauty trends and techniques through continuous learning 

**Experience:** 
- have a valid Cosmetology license
- Proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and treatments 
- Knowledge of color theory for hair and makeup applications 
- Ability to mentor junior staff members in salon procedures and techniques 
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance client experience 
- Previous experience in retail sales within a salon setting is a plus
