Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Cosmetology Teacher to teach evening classes. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging curriculum content, guiding students through hands-on practice, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and facilitate hands-on learning experiences.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote growth.
• Create an inclusive, supportive, and motivating classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with faculty to maintain high educational standards and best practices.
• Assist students in developing their technical and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

• Active Cosmetology License in the State of Illinois.
• Experience in the cosmetology industry with comprehensive knowledge of beauty techniques.
• Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and dedication to student success.
• Availability to teach evening classes and flexibility in scheduling.
• Monday thru Friday 5:00-10:00pm cst

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility
