• Analyze job costs, inventory balances, and expense accounts for accuracy and completeness to validate overall plant profitability.
• Investigate cost variances and financial discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and provide recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
•  Prepare and distribute monthly variance analyses related to material usage, labor, overhead, inventory, and production costs.
•  Analyze product, customer, and project profitability and provide recommendations to improve margins and operational efficiency.
• Support management with financial modeling, ad hoc analyses, and special projects.

•  Monitor inventory transactions and valuation to ensure compliance with company accounting policies and GAAP
• Analyze inventory reserves, excess and obsolete inventory, and inventory turnover metrics.
•  Review Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and manufacturing data to ensure costing accuracy.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and cost drivers to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

•  Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare journal entries, month-end accruals, and other accounting transactions as necessary to support accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to supporting documentation and investigate reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring financial results are reported accurately and within established deadlines.
•  Support forecasting and budgeting processes for plant operations, including location-specific and intercompany accounts

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3+ years of accounting, cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, or financial analysis experience preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic or similar manufacturing ERP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
