Cost Accountant

Yanfeng in Riverside, Missouri is looking for a Cost Accountant to join the Finance Team. This position will provide support and assistance to our manufacturing site in the following *

* monitoring the financial impact of production transactions, assist in development and implementation of standard costs, and analyzing and reconciling the general ledger to perpetual inventory balances.Supervisory ***** No Supervisory ResponsibilitiesEssential Job **

Develop costed BOMs, and Labor & Overhead rates.Maintain inputs into QAD or the local ERP environment as required. Monitor inventory adjustments relating to the cost accounting activity.Perform inventory valuations as required.Perform variance analysis between actual and standard costsDevelop cost allocation methodologiesSupport inventory accountingSupport in developing and monitoring inventory accounting work instructions for materials and supplySupport in accounting for all inventory movementsSupport in reconciling after physical inventorySupport in valuing in inventorySupport in analyzing and reporting stock / inventory lossesSupport in accounting for appropriate taxes and exercise ratesSupport in calculating appropriate accrualsSupport in analyzing and reporting stock / inventory lossesRequired *

* Bachelors Level Degree Area of ***** Business Administration, Finance / Controlling (Accounting, Finance, Controlling, etc.) or similar. Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience with Purchasing. Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry, preferably. Must be able and willing to travel and work at manufacturing sites.
