Cost Accountant - Generous Compensation

Responsibilities include:

• Review and post daily/monthly manufacturing accounting entries includes sales, costs of goods sold, and variances
• Track, analyze, and report on costs of goods sold on a monthly and annual basis.
• Support engineering, inventory, and production departments
• Audit inventory movement/adjustments daily.
• Calculate labor and overhead rates of goods for sale.
• Analyze and report direct and indirect labor monthly
• Complete estimated vs actual by work order
• Complete new product profit analysis and determine gross margin
• Assists in implementing budgets and reporting expense variances.
• Assist with a 5-day close.
• Perform account reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
• Report key performance indicators monthly.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in accounting: 3+ years cost accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Prioritize responsibilities by using multitasking and time-management skills.
• Able to effectively communicate both written and verbal.
• Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
