Cost Estimator

Cortina Solutions is seeking a Cost Estimator to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Duties:

• Provide support for the development, maintenance, and updating of cost estimates for Department of Defense programs.


• Assess risks and schedule


• Align Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements


• Ddevelop data driven estimating methodologies whenever possible


• Maintain basic understanding of mission critical aspects of acquisition and DOD programs/projects.


• Effectively communicate with program office personnel to include functionals, program managers, leadership, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field


• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Human Resources; additional experience may be used in lieu of degree


• Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCE/A) or a Certified Cost Professional (CCP) is not mandatory but preferred.


• Knowledge of Higher Headquarters, Air Force, Space Command, processes and procedures is desirable but not mandatory.


• Active Top Secret Security clearance
