Psychiatrist Opportunity – Inpatient (7 On / 7 Off)

Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Employer: River Region Psychiatry Associates
Position Type: Full-Time (W2 or 1099)

Position Details:

• Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
• Setting: Inpatient at a 22-bed adult facility (No pediatric patients)
• Additional Services: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adult inpatients.
  • Conduct medical consults as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with mid-level providers to ensure high-quality care.
• Compensation: W2 (employee) or 1099 (independent contractor) options available.

River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our team in Myrtle Beach, SC. This structured 7-on/7-off inpatient role offers a unique work-life balance while allowing you to provide high-quality psychiatric care in a 22-bed adult facility. Additional responsibilities include medical consults, PHP/IOP care, and collaboration with mid-level providers.

Requirements:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active or eligible for a South Carolina medical license.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with mid-level providers and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine – Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and/or Neurology

Experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with patient population hired to serve (child, adolescent, adult, or geriatric)

Ability to gain license in South Carolina to serve with a current and unrestricted DEA registration
