Job Description - Costing Documentation Specialist II

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:\n\n$43,100.00 - $64,700.00\n\nPurpose Statement: The Costing Documentation Specialist II is responsible for the analysis, creation, and standardization of customer documentation necessary for the Costing process. They may have more complex responsibilities such as analyzing cost variances and participating in cost control initiatives.\n\nKey Job Accountabilities:\n\n * Create clear and concise communication for the Costing Team, Business Development, Customer Management and operations with regards to documentation gaps.\n * Ensure costing solution follows the organization\u0027s guidelines, customer specifications, quote strategy and adheres to regulatory compliance and quality guidelines.\n * Interpret customer technical documentation and understand the organization\u0027s manufacturing capabilities in order to make intelligent purchase decisions.\n * Transform customer strategy and documentation into appropriate structure and inputs for the cost estimation and tools system.\n\n\n\nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\n\n * Associate\u2019s Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.\n\n\n\nOther Qualifications:\n\n * Intermediate Computer Skills\n * Intermediate decision making, problem solving skills\n * Intermediate verbal and written communication skills\n * Prioritize multiple tasks, meets deadlines and communicates shortcomings to management.\n * Advanced knowledge and understanding of product related BOM structure\n * Able to read and understand technical drawings\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n * Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment.
