Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT, following physician orders and individualized care plans
   
• Help patients regain independence by teaching fine motor skills, exercises, and home-based rehab strategies
   
• Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, and care teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care
   
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques to continue progress between visits
   
• Document care plans, progress notes, and treatment updates accurately and on time
   
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and quality improvement efforts
   
• Adjust treatment approaches as needed in collaboration with the OT

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
   
• Current COTA certification (NBCOT) and licensed to practice in New Mexico
   
• 1–2 years of experience preferred, especially in home health or rehab settings
   
• Strong communication and documentation skills
   
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in patients’ homes
   
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
